Tadcaster Events Management Project Team
MISSION AND HISTORY
Tadcaster Events and Management Project Team was formed following the floods in Tadcaster 2015, seeing a need to boost the towns economy and encourage visitors. The first TEMPT managed event was the Bridge Opening Celebratory day in February 2015. The event was a huge success drawing in large crowds to the town and offering a unique look at Tadcasters history.
Following on from the Bridge Opening, members of the team were involved in the Tour De Yorkshire start in Tadcaster, Tadcaster Carnival, Apple Day and 2018's Heritage Day and Lantern Parade.
The aim of the group is to produce a variety of events across the calendar to appeal to all ages. Increasing footfall to the town, and offering the community the chance to be involved in and enjoy lots of different events.
Lucy manages the Riley Smith hall and helps co-ordinate the calendar of events there.
Su is the founder of Tadcrafters.
Chris is General Manager at
Tadcaster Swimming Pool.
Howard is the secretary
to Nigel Adams, MP for
Selby & Ainsty.
Steve is the current Town Mayor in Tadcaster.
Nicola is founder of the Tadcaster Flood Action Group.
